Trade inside your 401k
Trade inside your 401k. It can pay off.
Although I don't work for MPS anymore I still have my 401k with them, allowing me to trade their stock inside my 401k.
From what I understand, you don't get fined like you would at a brokerage if you buy and sell inside your 401k.
For 6 months and 1 week's worth of doing nothing (besides checking on the stock twice a month) a $1200 return on $2,267 isn't bad at all. Try finding a CD with a ~50% return in 6 months.
I generally have nothing to brag about in my financial life. I guess that's why I'm posting this.
